CHAPTER 8 - THE TRUTH ABOUT DEMONS

I lived in Montgomery, Alabama for 12 years. During that time I was able to visit Maxwell Air Force Base and speak with the head of the “War Gaming” training department. He explained to me how the military trains its leaders through “war gaming” exercises. One team will assume the role of a potential enemy of the United States. The other team will practice their strategies as leaders of the United States military. The opposing team uses the tactics and methods of the country they are simulating. The U.S. team uses the tactics and methods of the United States military. The purpose of the “game” is to prepare to win a potential war or conflict of any kind with the enemy whose military forces we are simulating. In order for one team to replicate a potential enemy’s tactics, they have to know something about how their enemy does battle. They have to understand their enemy’s military logic and reasoning process. They have to have knowledge of how a potential enemy operates so they can successfully defeat them.

Satan is the enemy of every Christian. You have no choice but to do battle with him. As long as you live on this Earth, the Devil will be your enemy. Do you want to know how to defeat him? Then you have to understand his battlefield logic and methods of operation. God wants you to know the tactics of our enemy, Satan.

Now whom you forgive anything, I also forgive. For if indeed I have forgiven anything, I have forgiven that one for your sakes in the presence of Christ, lest Satan should take advantage of us; for we are not ignorant of his devices. (2 Corinthians 2:10-11)
